Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier / Beagle / Mixed (short coat)

Abby is a super sweet Pitbull mix girl....oddly enough DNA tests show mostly Beagle in the mix! She is all white except for a few brown spots on her head and one near her tail. She currently weighs close to 80 lbs but could stand to loose a few. Abby was born in the rescue on May 7th of 2012. Since then her road has not been easy. She was almost accidentally suffocated to death by her Mom and was bottle fed and hand raised by her foster. Unfortunately she has been let down by one family after another. We don't get it either. She has been fully obedience trained, is house trained and crate trained. She's great with kids! She has a lot of energy (probably due to the Beagle in her), but thrives in her home when she gets a nice walk or some time to play ball.  Abby loves to chase bunnies and steal socks. She is fine alone in her crate while her family is at work or school and can even be left out. She loves to sleep in the bed with her human or is happy in her own dog bed near you. We think Abby would do best in a home where she can be the only dog. She needs a mix of love and structure to keep her balanced and happy.
